| Kevan and I went on a week vacation to Sapphire, NC during Summer 2007. It is near Cashiers, NC which is a really cute tourist town. We went on a bunch of hikes, drove around to enjoy the view (although, sometimes we were a little close to the edge) and we enjoyed visiting new places to eat. We listed to the "End of the Spear" book by Steve Saint on our way up and then watched the movie one of the nights we were there. It was a very good book and it is a true story. On the way home we ran out of gas (I was sleeping) and we had to ride our bikes 3 miles on I-95 to get to a gas station. Thank the Lord we had our bikes! Although, it was about 95 degrees and we forgot to bring water with us. I hope you enjoy our pictures. |
